Before launching Smart Wire, Barry was National Network Consultant and Product Development manager for 3Com Corporation (NASD: COMS). Prior to that, he consulted and managed at Racal Datacom, industry leader in data communication and data cryptography equipment. Before Racal, Barry held sales, consulting and management roles at ITT and Alcatel. Both ITT and Alcatel were industry leaders in IBM Mainframe SNA front ends and peripherals.
